My name is Nicki, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200hr Seasonal Yoga teacher and owner and founder of Superstar Yoga. I’m passionate about Yoga and what it can do for your body and mind. Yoga makes me feel like I can do anything, it makes me calm, eases the chatter in my mind, it moves my body and I feel open and relaxed and I want to share that feeling with you all.
I want you to feel like a superstar, because you are!
Seasonal Yoga combines Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, breathing techniques and meditation, which along with some lifestyle tips will help you get the best out of the time of year and what’s going on in nature. Think of it this way, do you sometimes get the ‘winter blues’? Then Seasonal Yoga can help you overcome that. Why is summer the season of love? It’s because our energy is high and our hearts are open. Join me and become in tune with the seasons.

Many people have turned to Yoga and wellness of late and now like the convenience of practicing at home, so classes are available face to face in the studio or online at the same time. Whether in the studio or online you can be part of our ‘Seasonal Yoga tribe’ and feel the wonderful energy, yes, even through the screen.
In these strange times to keep you safe in class , we wear our masks to mat, hand gel is available and all props are sanitised too.

Practising yoga has lots of physical benefits: it creates a flexible, toned and strong body and can help improve your breathing, energy and metabolism. Yoga can also help improve your circulation, cardiac health, fitness levels, as well as your posture and even any pain you have
You will feel some benefits immediately, such as the release of physical tension, the body opening and muscles strengthening – the “feel good” factor that keeps people hooked on yoga - hence Superstar Yoga!
Other benefits depend on how much you practice and every person is different. But most people will feel a positive change after a few weeks, if not before.
Yoga can be of benefit to your mental health, making you happier, more balanced and emotionally calmer.
It will help you relax so you can handle stress better. It also encourages self-confidence and helps you to focus your energy.
There are spiritual benefits to yoga too. Yoga teaches you to be aware of what is going on inside and outside of you.
Yoga teaches you to be mindful, to be present in your surroundings and open to what is all around you.
Yes, its a myth that you need to touch your toes and bend like a pretzel. That all comes with practise.
Yoga will help to increase your flexibility and make your body feel more open.
All abilities are welcome to my classes. I will offer modifications where needed and we have props to hand or advise what props to use to help you move deeper into a pose or make it feel more comfortable for you.
You are encouraged to find out what feels comfortable for you and be kind to your body.
Wear something comfortable and easy to move in and if you haven't got a mat, don't worry, mats and props are available for you to use
